I absolutely love these meals. They make cooking easy when you’re in an area where you don’t exactly have access to a kitchen. They are exceptional in quality and flavor and have generous portions to boot!

I was 100% on board with the pre order after having these meals earlier this year. I should have bought two boxes! Hardest part is not eating them before the hunt. Taste like home cooked meal when your on the mountain! Love the chicken forestie its damn good.

I just got my order from Backcountry Bistro and sampled a few items before using them outdoors. Breakfast seemed like the ideal meal to test first. The Chorizo Egg & Cheese impressed me—its taste and texture were remarkably similar to real eggs. Next, I tried the Maple Biscuits and Gravy, which is hands down the best freeze-dried breakfast meal I've ever had. It will be hard to keep the rest sealed until hunting season.

Backcountry Bistro’s Chicken Broc Alfredo didn’t just hit the spot, it filed a formal takeover of my taste buds. The broccoli wasn’t mush, the chicken wasn’t impersonating cardboard, and the Alfredo sauce had no business being that good in the middle of nowhere. I loved it so much I’m adding it to my will. Whoever inherits my gear is also inheriting a mandatory pouch of this stuff
